REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL –
The City of Granite Falls (City) invites interested entities who are experienced in, and capable of, providing for: property, casualty, auto, and liability insurance coverage services to submit proposals in response to the City’s Request for Proposals (RFP). Although cost will be a major consideration in evaluating proposals, it will not be the only consideration. Among other concerns are breadth of coverages proposed, qualifications, and responsiveness of proposing insurers, extent of loss control and claims services, etc.
The RFP Packet and any Questions and Answers may be examined and obtained on the City’s website at www.ci.granite-falls.wa.us. Vendors who obtain solicitation documents from sources other than these, are cautioned the solicitation package may be incomplete. Furthermore, all addendums will be posted and disseminated via the City’s website.
Responsible questions regarding this RFP offering may be directed to darla.reese@ci.granite-falls.wa.us. The last date for questions pertaining to this proposal is April 12, 2023. Questions after this date will not be answered.
One (1) unbound original and three (3) bound copies of the proposal must be submitted no later than May 5, 2023 in sealed envelopes bearing the words “Insurance: Property, Casualty, Auto, and Liability RFP” and shall be submitted to the City Clerk, City of Granite Falls, P.O. Box 1440, Granite Falls, WA 98252. E-mailed and faxed proposals will not be accepted. The City encourages participation of DBE/WBE/MBE businesses in its procurement process and activity.
The City of Granite Falls reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as they may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Granite Falls. The Awarded firm is required to enter into a contract with the City of Granite Falls.
